Critical(批判性的) thinking means learning and understanding important information and using that to form a decision or opinion of your own.It doesn't always come naturally to us.But luckily,it's something that can be trained.
We face so much information and so many different opinions every day that it's really easy to get lost.Knowing which information matters is the first part of critical thinking, but it's pretty useless if you don't know what types of questions to ask next. After all, asking questions helps improve critical thinking. It's important to always ask yourself why something is important and how it connects to things you already know.As you do that, you train your brain to think critically about more information you get.
As with anything,if you want to get good at critical thinking, you need to practice it every day.One easy way to do this is to keep a diary. And try to write down your opinions every single day. Also, taking part in a healthy debate(辯論)with friends is great practice.
Critical thinking doesn't end.The more knowledge you get,the better you'll become at it.That doesn't mean that you should be always thinking about thinking, but it will be easy for your brain to form better arguments, focused ideas, and creative solutions to problems.
