        Xu tried her best to make it easier for students to learn Chinese well. （2）In sentence-making part，the students were encouraged to write down as many Chinese sentences as they can.Mistakes were seen very often.But Xu would correct the mistakes together with humorous comments，then the students laughed and easily remembered the correct ones.

"In Chicago，public schools offer 12 foreign languages for students to choose.In 2018，Chinese became the second most chosen foreign language.I think it was because of the rapid development and rising of China on the world's stage." said Jane Lu，CPS （Chicago Public Schools） Chinese World language coordinator and director of the Confucius Institute（孔子學(xué)院） in Chicago.
        Steven，a sixteen-year-old junior at Walter Payton started to learn Chinese in primary school and has kept learning ever since.         CPS started to offer Chinese as a second language choice in 1999 Only several schools had Chinese classes until 2006，when the Confucius Institute in Chicago was built.The institute is responsible for planning Chinese courses and training Chinese teachers in CPS.It also sends more than 20 CPS students to China for exchange and study every year.
