   The BBC looked at how and why people like one color more than another.There were two main findings in the research.One was that most people around the world like blue most.The other finding was that people change the colors they like as they get older.The researchers said our experiences in life change the way we feel about color."It tells us that our experiences with the world keep influencing the way we view color."Schloss，one of the researchers said.
   The younger you are，for example，the more likely you are to enjoy a brighter color.As you get older，you're more likely to take on darker colors.Younger women prefer to enjoy purples and reds，while younger men may prefer green or yellow green.
   The BBC looked into studies from two universities in the USA.They said blue has been a favorite since research began on color in the 1800s.The researchers said most people's experiences of blue are positive（積極的）Many things in nature that we love are blue，especially a blue sky，the sea and many flowers.A blue sky is enough to make many people very happy.The researchers said one of the only negative associations（負(fù)面聯(lián)系）with blue was in the English language，In English，people say they"have the blues"or are"feeling blue"，meaning they are sad.
   One factor in choosing a favorite color was a sports team or a college.The more they valued their team or college，the more they favored the specific color，whether the blue from the University of California or the red specific to Stanford University.
