A Heroic Teen Missed a Competition but Saved an Injured Woman

Last Saturday， Liu Wei， a Senior Two student of our school， helped an injured woman． On that day， Liu Wei was on his way to the hall where the English speaking competition took place when a woman fell off her bicycle carelessly． The woman struggled to get to her feet but failed， because her right leg was bleeding badly． Without any hesitation， Liu Wei came to her assistance． He applied pressure to the bleeding area and then tied his handkerchief firmly to the wound． Finally， he took the woman to the hospital nearby． It was after it that he realized it was too late for the competition， he missed it．
In order to give people in need a hand， Liu Wei gave up the competition． As his fellow schoolmates and teachers， we should learn from him．
