2.Hey,I'm a Yangtze finless porpoise(江豚).The Yangtze River is our only home.
My family was once nearly dying out.People overfished and polluted the water. We didn't get enough food to eat and had no safe place to live in.In 2017 there were only 1,012 of us,even fewer than pandas! The river got sick. And the lives there were in danger.
President Xi Jinping cared deeply about this.In 2016,he called for the protection of the river.Over these years, big changes have happened to my home. The chemical factories moved at least one kilometer away from the bank. They can no longer pour waste into the water.Fishermen packed up their fishing nets and started to protect us.
Now my family is also growing.I've got a few younger brothers and sisters! We sometimes jump in the air and say hello to people!
