2．The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge（HZM Bridge）will connect Hong Kong on the east bank of the Pearl River Delta to Zhuhai and Macao on the west bank，based on the planning of the national highway network.It will provide a significant part of the Pearl River Delta regional transportation loop-being a key new highway transport corridor crossing the Lingdingyang and connecting the east and west banks of the Pearl River.

3．Before Sydney's 2000 Olympic Games，Eric Moussambani had never set foot outside of his home country，the tiny nation of Equatorial Guinea where most citizens get by on less than one dollar a day.
Having secured his entry into the Games with the help of a wild card，Moussambani set about teaching himself to swim.He had no coach，no lanes，and no ways of tracking his efforts.The only pool available belonged to a local hotel，and they allowed him to use it between 5 and 6 am，just three times a week.Before Sydney he had never set eyes on an Olympic pool，let alone swum in one.
When the day came，the underdog captured the hearts of the Australian audience，and although he flagged in the second half of the race，with commentator Adrian Moorhouse remarking that "this guy doesn't look like he's going to make it"，he completed the heat with a time of I minute 53 seconds.
It was the slowest time in Olympic history，but a personal best.

My sister was a careful driver and despite the fact that I was already late，she refused to drive fast on the slippery road.I was lucky she was such a resolute and careful person because a few hundred meters away from the school，we witnessed a tragic accident.It all happened very quickly，as most accidents do.A car full of school children had made a left turning without signaling and as a result，a school bus crashed into it.A few cars behind the school bus rammed into the bus as they could not brake in time and soon it became a pile-up.The already crowded road became jammed with vehicles that came to a crawl.I told my sister that I wanted to help the victims and she nodded silently.She stopped the car not too far from the accident spot.
